$50 IN FREE DESSERTS

there should be a parade for days like this!! days when mr. coberly finds out he passed the bar exam in california!!! AMAZING. california has the hardest bar exam and we hear it was the hardest one in many years ... and the worst part is they make you wait from CLEAR back in july when you take it to now to find out! (it is a 3 day all handwritten test but still!)

last night we were at dinner when he found out and I must have been beaming because the restaurant gave us $50 in free desserts on a giant platter that said CONGRATULATIONS (and we had to swap our champagne for some kiddie cocktail shirley temples :0) ... it was either the beaming or the fact I told them - one or the other for sure.

and no we arent moving to california (yet)

THE CUTEST

how cute is my niece - - i know THE CUTEST! first of all she planned and decorated her entire party since her poor mom was sick to the sick right before. I did jig. shirts for her and her friends and they all look darling all dazzled up! I cant believe how old this chica is (the one in the middle front by the way) she was a little bitty thing when we got married - time flies!

if anyone needs a gift idea for me in the $50 CLICK HERE ... oh and while you are shopping please request that mine comes with the magical ability to make me look like her - - because im pretty sure this dress doesnt look as good on a regular (non supermodel) person, say in the 5'4 region (if i stand on my tippy toes). I also think they should put in the listing "pairs great with a fan, a pair of shiny earrings and a sultry come hither look for this season"

CRAFTING EXTRAVAGANZA

I wish I had some fun pics from friday nights craft social - - it was so much fun, 200 ladies + mini cupcakes + crafting extravaganza and poof you have amazingness ... alas my poor little camera battery had no desire to function (which is how I felt after being stuck in traffic for 2 hours for a 30 minute trip to the location.

** as soon as I get some from the official photographer I will post them up - - it was so fun to network and to meet some people who have ordered jig onesies!

FAUX CHALK

look what just arrived in the shop!!! chalk frame onesies {okay faux chalk but you get the idea} made to look like all those fun trendy chalkboards out there right now.

truth be told I have to thank my darling sis in law who needed some designs for a baby shower coming up and it got the ole design brain rolling and poof! new onesies in the shop.

i think these would be really fun for christmas!

my poor mr. coberly - - he crosses his fingers every year that I wont go all wacko and change out our apartment decorations but alas I just cant help it - - i really wish i could just decorate a room and then step away from it for a few years BUT I CANT ... maybe its cabin fever because I live in an apartment so really im just decorating another room when actually its the same rooms over and over? hmmm I like it - - im stickin' with it.

im feeling a little 'meh' about my red pillows right now, so this little kelly weartler mama is on its way to my casa to settle in with the other brown, black and whities on the couch ... thats right I have black and brown together in my room (gasp!) i promise it works and i love it (and really thats all that matters!) i realized long ago i had no set 'look' that couldnt be strayed from - - i pick things i like and they just go together because i like them!
