so today we have gretchen (no idea what her real name is) and im guessing right now she is thinking "i wish i wouldnt have gotten kicked off project runway, because this is for sure the worst modeling job EVER, and im starving so i guess Ill just eat a bit of my skirt"

ITS THE LOVEY MONTH

I thinks this article is just MUCHO perfect ... when I taught preschool during my college years (hello 12 hour shifts with 2 year olds!) you could definately tell which ones had parents that actually spent time with them and which ones didnt ... this is a great list in case you are stumped, plus its february so you should do some of these things just because its the lovey month.

2 GIANT BOXES

he must have realized I was talking about him yesterday ... because today we welcomed a new nephew Finn into the world, he needs a few prayers as he is in the NICU needing a little help breathing for a bit (but expecting a full recovery!) so keep him in your thoughts today and send some prayers all the way to utah today.

I immediately went to amazon when I heard he was here and ordered up 2 giant boxes of cigars to celebrate - - okay actually it was 2 giant boxes of diapers because we dont do the cigar thing - - and I figured they will get more use out of diapers and whats better than coming home from the hospital to find giant boxes of pampers? nothing from what i hear :0)

MUST BE ALL THOSE

having cute little nephews sure makes marking my jig. onesies and t shirts MUCH easier :0) I use this little papa for listing custom orders - - but I just had to show you the new vday designs I did for a client (its so much easier for me to do boy designs than girl designs ... must be all those little baby boys we have in the family

... which reminds me - - my parents are getting ready to welcome their grandbaby boy #5 (and baby boy #6 coming in may!) we cant wait to meet them!

eek ... almost a week without posting - - work has been crazy, its snowing and belinda carlisle is keeping me awake at 10am (create the pandora station, you wont be sorry)

I tried really hard to resist buying more of these locker baskets but I just really love them and my craft supplies are shoved in every nook, cranny and below the bed - - I just love how they look in the bookcase and will always be useful no matter what room they are in.

WHILE FEELING VAVAVOOM

dang. these people are brilliant! while browsing some swimwear I came across this cape/skirt combo that you can own for the low price of $108.00 - - not only would I be able to keep from getting sunburned on my legs all while feeling vavavoom, but I could use this skirt for tango night and during the day? SUPERHERO ALYSSA ON DECK TO SAVE THE WORLD! now if only I could find that superhero mask I had bookmarked I think we could be a go on this.

I moved into a new office which spurred a fresh redecoration, so out with the old and in with the new - - I wish I could paint in here but white walls it is. Im still working on getting a cool fabric covered chair (wish I could afford THIS but really $1,200 is just silly) and some kind of credenza or something but for now all I have to show for my hard work is one wall butterflies and one wall of 'pictures my hubby would never allow in my home, but LOVE THEM in my office'

GIVEN UP THE GHOST

so yesterday I came home and my table looked so romantical ... until I looked up and realized the reason there were beautiful flower petals all over because the tulips had given up the ghost totally and completely ... 2 DAYS AFTER I BOUGHT THEM - - grrrr

... on a bright note notice those ceramic feathers in the one vase - I have been wanting forEVER but were $18 each - - hello roost clearance, hello.

SNUCK BEHIND THE TREE

im so glad I didnt have wedding blogs around when I got married - - because there are way too many beautiful wedding ideas out there now!! and I think THIS one is just so simple and elegant ... makes me wish I could have been walking by and snuck behind the tree to watch. Plus her headpiece is AMAZING.

SUNNY SKIES AND SANDY DOCKS

i adore toms shoes business model - - one pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair purchased ... seriously makes my little heart swell. I have wanted toms for quite awhile, but now I have to decide which style to get - - the classic (i like the gray and red colors) or this fun updated (the downside being the ability to keep those puppies clean) can you tell the forecast is calling for freezing rain today? im dreaming of sunny skies and sandy docks!

A BIG FLOPPY HAT

the good news is that I found the swimsuit I want to buy for the cruise ... the bad news is that I could feed mr. coberly for more than a month for the price - - but come one this swimsuit SCREAMS cruise - - a big floppy hat, high heel flip flops and red lipstick (and of course a mocktail) I would be concerned about diving in this suit though - - not only does it scream cruise, it also screams EAT ME to those pesky sharks - and for the price I certainly cannot afford to be eaten, I would need to wear this for atleast 10 years to make it worth it ... I showed it to mr. coberly and his eyes rolled without even trying - - hehe. but really if anyone knows any cute suits im all ears (or i guess eyes since i would have to read it)

i have jealous rage for people that can knit ... I tried once (I failed miserably) so Im so excited that my dear friend lucinda has a shop now so I can get my fix ... I would like to state that this picture really proves im a total crack pot ... yes those are horsehead candles ... but seriously they are so cool - -and they go perfectly with my living room.

this year im trying really hard to not eat all the blue convo hearts (those are my fav) and loving that I remembered my cute vintage vday cards from my mom (too cute!)

LITTLE HONEY DIPPER

oops! forgot to show you the co worker gifts I did last year - - I was taken with these comb honey jars at a cute little market. So I bought a little honey dipper and put a label on them that said "may your holidays BEE merry and bright" hehe.
